Heswall Audiologist
As the resident Audiologist and Manager in our Heswall branch, I am proud to welcome patients from the community I’ve called home my entire life. Growing up on the Wirral and remaining here to serve my local area gives me a deep connection to the people who walk through our clinic doors.
My path to hearing care wasn't traditional; after spending over two decades working in the legal field and attending more than 100 Parole Board hearings, I realised it was time for a meaningful career change. I went back to study and spent six dedicated months working at a School for the Deaf in Berkshire, an experience that truly cemented my passion for personal, compassionate care.
In my day-to-day role, I strictly adhere to HCPC standards and BAA/BSA guidance to provide safe, expert support. My work ranges from conducting comprehensive pure-tone audiometry tests to formulating tailored, person-centred management plans based on your diagnostic results. I also fit and program hearing aids and assistive devices for optimal clarity, as well as perform gentle earwax removal techniques, including microsuction and irrigation.
What I love most about my work is building genuine relationships with my patients. Being able to listen to your story, understand your history, and help improve your connection to the world around you is immensely rewarding.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll most likely find me enjoying the outdoors and walking my two dogs along the Wirral Way or staying active at local Pilates and dance classes.
Just For Fun
If you could have dinner with one person, who would you choose?
If I could have dinner with one person it would be with my grandad, who was the oracle in everything I asked. It has only been with age that you appreciate how precious they were.
