"Be confident if you are considering a visit for your hearing."
Most of my adult life, I have had an ear waxing problem. Before visiting Hear Pure, I was concerned that I might not have used wax softener sufficiently, but my first impression was that the clinic is very professional and not too expensive. There is no hanging around, and in my experience, they clean and test well.

I first realized something was wrong with my hearing when I was unable to watch or listen to TV without turning the volume up too high for my family. I was looking for better quality and more facilities in hearing aids than what the NHS free versions provided. My first impression of Hear Pure was that they were very efficient, friendly and helpful, giving me good information about the available hearing aids. Wearing hearing aids has allowed me to keep the TV volume at a level that doesn't annoy my family and has given me much better hearing in restaurants and generally. The staff are pleasant, and the environment is comfortable and non-stressful. Jane is extremely helpful and not pushy, and I am very happy with the service I have received, including wax removal. I would encourage anyone with concerns about their hearing to give them a call, have a free consultation, and decide if you feel you can afford those hearing aids being suggested for you.

As a stroke survivor, I struggle every day with fatigue so not having good hearing made my days even shorter and more frustrating. My only concern before contacting Hear Pure was whether I could get in and out of their premises and manage inside. I was very impressed by the friendly, caring welcome from all of the team. The ease of the entire process, from booking an appointment to attending and being seen to, made everything less stressful. I’d say to anyone concerned about their hearing, take deep breaths and make an appointment.

I suffered gradual hearing loss and decided to find out if I had a wax build up or more. I had no fears about contacting Hear Pure, since I’m in my 70s and had family experience with hearing issues, though such things weren’t really discussed back then. At my first visit, I was immediately put at ease and the aids I now wear have improved my quality of life enormously. I’m enjoying my ability to hear, rather than asking for things to be repeated. My favourite thing about working with the clinic is that my mind is at ease and my quality of life has improved. If someone is concerned about their hearing, I’d say make an appointment. There is no pressure to buy and you will have a better understanding of the situation.

I was slightly depressed when I first noticed something was up with my ears because it indicated old age, so I was reluctant to acknowledge it. My initial fears were about the cost and how good they would be. My first impression of Hear Pure was positive, as they seemed professional.
I was satisfied after going to the clinic, but I later followed an NHS referral to Specsavers for a hearing aid and de-waxing. I became unhappy with their thoroughness and the effectiveness of their treatment. I recently returned to the clinic, where they adjusted the treatment since microsuction wasn't suited to the deeply ingrained residue. It was very good and cheaper. My favourite thing is not feeling like I'm on an assembly line, with treatment that is effective and adjusted to suit me.

I've had hearing problems since I was a child, so when I looked for help, I wanted to be dealt with by caring professionals who knew what they were talking about. My first impression of Hear Pure was that it was a small, friendly outfit rather than an impersonal clinic. I couldn't function confidently in public without my aids. My favourite thing about working with the clinic is the personal touch.

"Go and see what they have to offer, now!"
I felt it was becoming an irritation rather than a problem, but I wanted to make sure. I had no concerns, just found it annoying. I had used Hear Pure before and was very satisfied. The service is always friendly and efficient. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I would say, quite simply, make an appointment.
Robert D.
"Quite simply - make an appointment."
I first realized I had a hearing challenge several years ago. I had no concerns before contacting Hear Pure. My first impressions were that the clinic was thorough, professional, and caring. Hearing aids have vastly impacted my life, with my TV volume dropping from 50 to 15. My favorite thing about working with the clinic is their friendliness. If you are concerned about your hearing, go, you'll be impressed.
Colin M.
"Go, you'll be impressed."
I first realized something was wrong when I couldn’t hear and my balance was affected. I had no concerns before contacting Hear Pure and found them very professional from the start. My favourite thing is being able to hear, and when my ears are blocked I can get an appointment really quickly. I would tell anyone concerned about their hearing to make an appointment because they are super helpful and have been brilliant.

Others around me kept telling me the TV, music, or my guitar playing was too loud. At first I was amused, then irritated, then concerned. I had no fears about Hear Pure because I was looking for a different service provider after dealing with Boots. I was pleased that the service was local and that everyone, from reception to the audiologist, was friendly, reassuring, and professional. I didn’t feel under pressure. With hearing aids, it's much easier to hear in social settings and I no longer feel embarrassed about missing conversations. My favourite thing is that my service provider is local, accessible, friendly, and always available for advice.
David S.
"Talk to the staff and audiologist about concerns. There is no pressure."
I first realised something was up with my ears about five years ago. I had no preconceived fears before contacting Hear Pure. My first impressions were that they were really helpful, and they have been ever since. Being able to hear is most important for me, and the clinic is always there for me. If you are concerned about your hearing, I would say don’t hesitate, you’ll be more than pleased with the results.

Now I live with a group of older people, and during our weekly meetings I found that I was quite often missing part of a conversation. I had tried over the counter hearing aids, but was getting feedback a lot of the time and the supplier was unable to fix the issue, so I gave up with the hearing aids. My first impression of Hear Pure was that they were very professional, reassuring, warm, and caring. I wear my hearing aids every day. Although my hearing loss isn't too bad at the moment, it's not going to improve on its own, so I'm future-proofing myself.
There was no pressure to sell me hearing aids, unlike my wife experienced at a High Street retailer, which put her off completely. I am happy with the treatment I've received from the clinic and have no regrets. I would certainly encourage anyone concerned about their hearing to give them a try.

I realised something was up with my ears in 2023. There were no fears or concerns before contacting Hear Pure. The appointment was arranged efficiently and the staff were helpful. My favourite thing is knowing they can help and solve my discomfort. I would say, trust the service and look forward to a better quality of life.

I can't remember exactly when I first realized something was wrong, but possibly about two years ago. I found it difficult when I was with people talking and couldn't hear them, which was very isolating. I also had tinnitus and the hearing aids helped with this. I believed there may be a link to dementia if nothing is done about hearing loss, so I decided to take action. My first impression of Hear Pure was that they were pleasant, helpful, and easy to talk to about hearing loss. Since wearing hearing aids, my hearing is much better now and nobody seems to notice them. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I would say just go for it, it certainly doesn't hurt—try them and see the difference.

I realised I had a hearing challenge when I was using earphones and noticed my right ear was badly affected, possibly blocked. I also had to keep increasing the volumes on the radio and TV, plus I struggled to understand people speaking close to me. My GP confirmed my right ear was full of wax and advised me to see a specialist, but NHS waiting times were eight months.
I was unsure at first because I had never used private healthcare, but I am sure I made the right choice with Hear Pure. The staff were very welcoming, parking was easy, and the service was very successful. They presented themselves professionally and dealt with my hearing issues efficiently. I was seen almost immediately, diagnosed, and booked in for treatment. I would say to anyone concerned about their hearing, don't put it off. Pick up the phone, don't suffer in silence. I was amazed at my hearing after I was treated and it was a very fast and efficient service.

I became deaf in my left ear due to ear wax. I had no concerns before contacting Hear Pure, as I have been twice before. My first impression was that they are very professional and resolve the issue. I feel safe knowing they can resolve my problem. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I would say get checked out with professionals.
Martin W.
"Get checked out with professionals."
I wanted to know how quickly I could get help when I noticed something was up with my ears. I had no concerns before contacting Hear Pure. My first impression was that they were very knowledgeable and provided a thorough examination, with detailed explanations to all of my questions. Hearing aids have improved my quality of life. To anyone concerned about their hearing and considering visiting the clinic, I would say relax, you are in excellent hands.
Jon G.
"Relax, you are in excellent hands."
I've known I have issues with my hearing for over ten years, and I've had NHS hearing aids for that length of time. However, I could never get used to them and just kept on somehow managing. I had no preconceived ideas when I contacted Hear Pure, just the worry that I wouldn't be able to get used to wearing hearing aids. I was made very welcome at the clinic, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. My hearing aids have made a massive difference in the way I can hear conversations, the radio, birdsong, and they have made it much easier to take part in social situations and conversations. They provide a very individual and friendly service and are very responsive and quick to help.
I would say just go and talk to them, have a hearing assessment which is free, and they can advise you on suitable hearing aids. They also look after you afterwards and make any amendments that are necessary to improve your experience.
Anne R.
"My hearing aids have made a massive difference in the way I can hear conversations, radio, birdsong, etc. and they have made it much easier to take part in social situations and conversations."
About five years ago, I realised I was missing parts of conversations and tended to switch off, especially when my grandchildren had to repeat themselves to me. I had concerns after my experience with NHS hearing aids, as the sound quality was very false and limited, so I worried Hear Pure hearing aids might be the same. However, everyone at the clinic was friendly and professional, it was easy to arrange appointments, and I was well informed about the process.
Now, I wear my hearing aids every day and find them extremely comfortable. I feel much more confident in almost all situations, knowing I don’t have to keep asking people to repeat themselves. My favourite part about working with them was confidence in their advice, based on my hearing test results, with no pressure to decide. For anyone concerned about their hearing, I would say the only way to know if hearing aids will help is to have a test and take advice, as I was impressed by their expertise.
David D.
"There is only one way to decide if hearing aids will benefit you and that is to have a hearing test and to take advice."
I realised I had a hearing problem some years ago when I couldn't hear as well and had noise in my ears. It was very difficult to enjoy normal conversation and listening to radio and TV programmes. After seeing my GP, I was referred to the NHS hearing centre and fitted with hearing aids, but although these helped with volume, they didn’t improve clarity or reduce the noise in my ears, which was disappointing.
I hoped Hear Pure would be able to treat my hearing problem better than the NHS. My first impression was that they were very professional and caring about my problem, giving advice in a friendly way, taking time to examine my ears, and recommending suitable hearing aids. My current hearing aids have made a massive difference, I can join in conversations, listen to the radio and TV without having the volume up too high, hear birdsong better, and use the telephone. They have also reduced the impact of tinnitus. I would tell anyone concerned about their hearing to go and see them for a check, as they are professional and friendly, offering good advice without being pushy. My favourite thing is the always friendly service, which has been consistent over several years.
